Nothing but great things to say about Effie's Place! My family and I were flying out of Hartford and wanted to stop and have breakfast before our flight. Effie's was the only place I could find on Yelp that looked like a good sit-down breakfast spot. It was very cozy on the inside, kinda like a family feel. We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. It was a Monday morning, so not too crowded. Our server was quick and very friendly. The food was delicious! I was disappointed we were leaving Connecticut that day. I would have loved to have gone back and tried something else on the menu. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for breakfast in Hartford.

Effie's is SO good. It is sincerely one of the best breakfast spots you can find in West Hartford! My partner and I went this weekend and our server was so sweet. Service is always a hit here. We ordered one of their combos and it came with so much food. Their pancakes are THICK. It was a perfect way to start the day. Don't forget to order their hot chocolate too!

This was a very nice experience. Made a reservation for 2:15 and was promptly seated! Lots of open spaces honestly could've walked right in. We went on Mother's Day and it was a super nice day so got t sit outside away from the noise inside which was nice. Our order was taken quickly and I got the Effie's kielbasa omelette and it was very tasty. For $16 it was a steal and super tasty with the caramelized onions. The idea pie was also so good. It was rich and you could really taste everything was made to order. Would go again love their breakfast/brunch options!

I went here this past weekend and loved it. They have an outdoor patio area that allows dogs. I brought my dog here and the staff was super friendly. I ordered a salad with salmon on it as well as the spanakopita. They were both delicious. We will be back again.

Effie's is a quick walk from my house so it's one of my regular spots. Service is always quick and friendly! The space is classic and cozy. It's not super exciting but my go to is always the chicken Caesar salad. Find me a place with better grilled chicken, I dare you!
